Our second visit to Bora Bora! Unusual but only because I’m a back-2-back cruise ship passenger and now we’re giving the guests who embarked in Tahiti a chance to visit this gorgeous island. Tahiti has the largest airport in the area and is the commercial hub so it was a logical place to end a 2-week cruise, reprovision, and start a new cruise. That’s the only repetition in our schedule- it’s south and west from here!
I originally had another snorkel trip booked but having already done 2 in 3 days I decided to skip it today. I think I might be catching Aspen’s cold, I’ve a bit of a scratchy throat so I decided to stay aboard today and catch back up on my reading.
My new cabin is one deck lower and with a porthole rather than a window but there’s still plenty of light and of course I can watch the bow camera on television to also see what’s happening outside if I don’t want to go up to the public areas. I’m still getting used to my cabin’s location, not pleased with it but I should have investigated it earlier, I suppose. Still learning about cruising!
