Our last day on board is another sea day. It turned out to be one of the most quiet days, despite a fun matinee at 2pm – a cruise staff talent show. The Nepalese security staff were a particular hit with their traditional Gurkha dance. The weather turned in the afternoon to choppy seas and grey skies, most people spent this time in their cabins packing.
I think people are also mentally packing up. Thoughts are directed towards home and other obligations and less to socializing and attending events. I went to the afternoon lecture instead of evening trivia and the big theatre was a ghost town. Us 3 amigos attended the last Solos get together and only a handful showed up. Although I’d already had an early dinner in the buffet, both Chad & I joined Aspen for her dinner in the specialty restaurant, mostly just to watch her eat and enjoy our last night together, lol.
