Oh my goodness, how strange this feels traveling again. Blogging again. What was that password? It’s not coming easily, this getting back to normal travel. I stressed over my packing for two full days before my trip. Hurriedly finalizing it only as my 4:20am ride to the airport was sitting outside my house. Did I pack too much? Absolutely. Do I have enough? I’m not sure….

In my first big trip since COVID I’m off for 6 1/2 weeks on another big cruise plus more. I start with 4 full days in Venice, Italy before I board the cruise ship MSC Sinfonia for a 30-day passage south to Cape Town, South Africa. After that I’ll hop a plane over to St. Helena for a week, then return home hopefully wonderfully exhausted from a surfeit of new experiences and awesome sights.

I hope to blog as I can – ship’s Wi-Fi non-withstanding. There’ll be lots of Days At Sea onboard with little to report other than wining and dining so I’ll save the posting for my Port Days.
