I have nothing to blog about today but I wanted to keep the continuity of the Day #’s going.

I awoke to rather thick fog outside my 9th story window making it rather a grey and dreary day. I had no real desire to trek back to Venice as I’ve covered a lot of ground so far and for some reason I didn’t really have much interest in seeing any museums this trip so I just had a leisurely morning in, then a a bit later made my pilgrimage to Decathlon, the thrifty European mega sports store.

I love Decathlon. You can outfit your self for hiking, golf, biking, fencing, duck hunting, badminton, horseback riding, water polo, you-name-it; all in one visit and at an economical price. Of course it isn’t the highest quality but it serves its purpose. I lucked out on some winter biking gloves and a biking top and spent an enjoyable hour or two perusing gear for all the things I don’t do.

Back to the hotel for lunch and laundry (see, exciting stuff here!) and wrestling with my luggage. Then an afternoon of reading and watching cozy mysteries on BritBox should round out my day.
