Day 33: At Sea

Someone flipped a switch and the sea has gone brown and the air is cold. That pairs well with how I felt today – my cough moved to my nose = a cold. Karen gave me some cold meds in addition to the cough drops she bought for me yesterday and I spent most of the day napping. I emerged at 6:30p to find a ghost town. Decks are empty, casual eateries servicing just a few hardy souls. Before Durban these places would still be hopping’ with the late-eating Europeans, partying on until the sun set. Either a lot got off in Durban or they’re fair weather cruisers….

Or maybe they’re all inside watching the World Cup, we have TV again after 3 weeks!
