A rest day today and what timing! Thunderstorms during the night and it’s absolutely tipping down with rain this morning.  The mountains which hug this valley town are shrouded in mist – not a view to be had anywhere.  My room at the Hotel Croux is another perfect single – with a huge balcony which me and my wet laundry fully utilized yesterday’s sunny afternoon.  This morning I’m taking advantage of the cozy reception lounge to while away a few hours with tea and a good book before venturing out later for food. Can’t be more restful than that!
